We understand that growing a new life in your body comes with a multitude of emotions, stressors, joys, fears, and physical changes! Wherever you are on your journey, we want you to feel supported within a community of like-minded women and to rest easy knowing that you are doing everything you can to prepare for safe childbirth and to help give your baby a healthy start to life.
Prenatal yoga emphasizes stress reduction and relaxation for expecting mothers. According to research from the Mayo Clinic, prenatal yoga has been found to:
reduce stress and anxiety,
increase the strength, flexibility, and endurance of muscles needed for childbirth,
decrease lower back pain, nausea, headache, and shortness of breath.
During this six-week series, learn to move in ways that support and strengthen your changing body, while keeping your baby safe. The six-week series is safe for all trimesters of pregnancy. Meditation and pranayama (breathwork) techniques that can be used during labor will be emphasized during the class. Take the time to meet and build community with other women sharing the journey of motherhood!
Enrollments run in 6-week series. It is recommended that everyone register ahead of time, although prorated packages are available upon request.
The series price is $108 ($18/class) for the full 6-weeks–this includes a free makeup week at the end of each session if you miss a class. Drop-ins are $25.
