Being immersed in the finer mysteries of yoga in its many forms, she happily shares her deep love and passion for spirituality with all.
Caroline's (RYT 500) love of yoga came from her discovery of the practice in 1996 while working as a personal trainer. During this time, she built a studio on the lake where she lived with everything she felt was needed to strengthen the body, including many outdoor activities such as kayaking water aerobics and aquatic yoga for clients. Although she was enjoying the fruits of a successful business she felt like something was missing—not enough yoga! Eventually, she enrolled in her first Yoga Teacher Training with Grace Studios in Silver Spring and began to follow her passion. Her bachelor's degree in Physical Education adds depth to her understanding of the body as a holistic system.
Charlsie (RYT 200) took her first yoga class at Montgomery College and instantly fell in love with the practice. She soon thereafter pursued her teaching certification at Thrive Yoga in Rockville. Yoga has helped her cope with many life struggles, find strength and balance, and learn to slow down; both on and off the mat. Though first attracted to yoga for the physical benefits, with her natural curiosity for the metaphysical world, it did not take long for Charlsie to experience the true power of yoga!
Daniela (RYT 200) received her teaching certification from LifePower Yoga. She loves to share her passion for the importance of breath and intention with her students. Yoga Teacher | Massage & Reiki Practitioner
Dorianne Aillery (RYT 200) began teaching yoga in 2009, which instilled deeper peace and equanimity while facing the demands of being a high school teacher. During her transition of careers to the healing and performing arts, she traveled the east coast with artist Wynne Paris, offering yoga-fusion workshops in yoga music and kirtan, (the call-and-response singing of Bhakti yoga). She currently works as a yoga and meditation teacher, massage therapist, Reiki practitioner, vocalist, poet, and dancer.
Dorianne is passionate about guiding others through their journey into healing and self-exploration. Her daily ritual of self-empowerment consists of meditation, yoga, music, dance, and activities that foster connectivity of mind, body, and spirit. Dorianne brings a wealth of creative experience and genuine enthusiasm to her classes and workshops. Her nurturing sensitivity to others has naturally unfolded in her pursuit to deepen as a practitioner in the healing arts. She finds that yoga, Reiki, and massage are greatly enhanced through crystal work, vibrational sound healing, chakra-balancing, pranayama (breath work), and aromatherapy.
Her family and spiritual connection to nature have been great influences in the development of her roots and peace of mind. She feels a calling to help illuminate the world, and weave the light of gratitude, compassionate-living, and authenticity to the world around her in order to build and sustain vibrant communities.
Erin (RYT 500, Reiki Master, Thai Yoga Massage, Aerial Yoga certified) enjoys teaching vinyasa, hatha, restorative, yin, and aerial yoga flows. Her teaching style is described as connective, kind, inviting, and expansive.
Erin’s yoga love story involves a soul-driven search for passion and happiness in her life. While she found great joy in her profession of counseling and helping others, inside she felt there was more she needed from life. She took her first yoga class in 2011 and immediately fell in love with the mental and physical releases the practice brought her. Erin took a dive in 2017 by quitting her job and entering a 200-hour summer intensive yoga teaching training. She loved the experience so much, she has been teaching ever since!
Jessie (RYT 200) loves to share yoga with her students by combining her athletic background with an intention to heal and feel good! After playing just about every sport you can think of, including defensive tackle on the men's football team, Jessie was recruited to throw the hammer on the University of Maryland's Track & Field team. Jessie had an incredible experience as a collegiate athlete, serving as a captain and becoming all-ACC, but when she graduated she felt a void from no longer being part of a team. This is how she found her way to yoga.
After committing to a consistent practice, Jessie noticed her back-pain releasing and her hips and quadriceps becoming more flexible, resulting in an overall feeling of lightness and freedom that she had never experienced from her years of athletics. After just a few weeks of practicing yoga, Jessie felt like a new person with a connection to her breath, mind, and body. By combining her athletic experience with her yogic journey, Jessie brings sport-specific movements to help her students take a balanced approach to excelling in their sport... all while feeling good!
After losing her father to cancer and getting diagnosed with her own set of health concerns, Julia struggled to make sense of her new normal. It wasn't until Julia began practicing yoga that she was able to see a light at the end of the tunnel. Yoga became her outlet and helped her realize she had the strength to get through the highs and lows of life. Helping others find their own personal resolve is what motivates Julia as a teacher. Julia firmly believes we are stronger than we give ourselves credit for and if we can take a few minutes on our mat each day transformation will happen. She combines pranayama (breath work) and asana (yoga postures) to encourage students to work through mental and physical sensations in order to stay present and receive the many blessings yoga offers.
Julie (RYT 200) started her yoga journey, like many, for the physical aspects of asana practice. She soon became aware that there was so much more to be experienced, both spiritually and philosophically. Her classes are flow in nature and allow the practitioner to move in mindful meditation. Her goal as a teacher is to pass on not just the physical practice of yoga, but yoga as a whole, infusing her classes with a fun and positive energy. A lifelong student, she continues to study the practice of yoga for her own self-awareness, Svadhyaya.
Karin (RYT 200) has been practicing yoga since 2007. Her classes revolve around a balance of strength and ease; power and breath. She enjoys teaching vinyasa yoga and loves assisting students on their own yoga journey. She has had the opportunity to take part in workshops with Sean Corne, Bryan Kest, and has also completed Baron Baptiste's level one training. Come prepared to sweat, smile and leave Karin's yoga class feeling grounded and open to possibilities.
Keegan (RYT 200) began his practice in 2010 at a Baptiste inspired studio. This class sparked an expedition into meditation, breathwork, Tai Chi, and other forms of mind/body/spirit practices. He completed his teacher training in 2015 and has been teaching ever since. He has taught vinyasa, hatha, restorative, and kundalini inspired classes during his time as a teacher.
Keegan believes yoga opens us up to states of inner stillness. This state of stillness has healed, empowered, and revealed joy within his life. He cultivates this in his classes by incorporating pranayama (breathwork techniques) and cueing breath control during the practice.
Breath is key for Keegan, along with proper alignment within the shape of a pose. Keegan likes to build students into postures (asanas) from the foundation up while offering variations optimal for each student. Once proper alignment is achieved, he feels the subtle energetic quality of the pose can be embodied.

She is currently pursuing her 300 RYT Prana Vinyasa certification with Jessica Lazar at Flow Yoga Center.
