Class Descriptions

Mat Pilates

This 55-minute Mat Pilates session focuses on the basic principles of Pilates and is open to clients of all experience levels. Controlled movements are used to sculpt long, lean muscles while improving posture and flexibility. Mat Pilates truly challenges you to stay in touch with your core at all times, relying on your own muscle mass and body to perform each exercise. Join this class to dramatically strengthen your core and control your breathing to help create a balanced body & mind.


Vinyasa Flow Level 2/3 
The ultimate dance between breath and movement. This class explores a more vigorous expression of this dynamic practice. More advanced postures including backbends, arm balances and inversions will be included within the sequence of the vinyasa flow. Students should expect a challenging practice designed to build physical strength and mental focus. Class will end with a brief meditation and/or pranayama practice. Experience with vinyasa yoga is required as you should be comfortable with "taking a vinyasa" on your own.


Gentle Yoga 
More and More the medical community is recognizing the numerous benefits of Yoga
as a method of healing and living with Chronic Pain. Gentle Yoga is slow,steady &
comfortable practice.Using Postures that strengthen muscle in a functional way to
support joints while creating stronger bones. Exploring the use of postures to balance 
strength with flexibility creating more energy.Incorporating Breathing techniques 
that calm the nervous system, often lessening anxiety.


Story Time Yoga

Explore the adventure of a childrens story with yoga poses, creative movement, breathing, music and a small craft to tie it all together!

This 45-minute class will be based on a book or story, with stops along the way to act out the many characters, animals or adventures we read about. We will include savasana and a moment of meditation. We'll then take 15 minutes at the conclusion of the story to work on a craft and tie the whole practice together!

Each child must have a guardian present.

Vinyasa Flow I/II

Move though your yoga practice coming to a heightened awareness of your body, mind, and spirit. Taking a balanced and open approach to yoga, this class is geared to move the body, focus on the breath and be present.


Family Yoga Practice
Spend the morning practicing with family!
Family Flow I
Bring your child, ages 6 and up, to this gentle flow class. Class will be a regular Adult Flow I class with modifications integrated into practice that give your child the opportunity to join in.
If your child needs to break from practice, they may sit quietly on their mat or set up in the corner with a book or activity brought from home. Given the welcoming environment for our younger yogis, all practitioners must understand that other children will be in attendance.
All parents are responsible for the safety of their child. No running, or rough housing. Practice continues for a full hour.

Each practitioner must register separately. Each child must be entered into mindbody and registered as an attendee.
